Climate
Mostly a continental climate with very cold winters and very hot summers.

Douro.
Grounds
Schist pre-Cambrian and archaic, with some granitic spots.
Castes
Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz.
Wine Making
Manual harvest, very selective, with excellent ripeness criteria.
Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks with temperature control,
pelicular maceration followed by malolactic fermentation.
Minimum 2 years before bottling.
Tasting Notes
Closed ruby color, patches of violet, with a red fruit aroma with bits of vanilla and toast, very elegant, smooth and persistent.
Alcohol –13,5 % vol.
Gastronomy
A very versatile wine, ideal with plates of meat, cheeses, typical Portuguese food.
Recommended temperature between 17-20ºC.
