Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca
Vinification
Manually harvested in order to ensure the careful selection of the ripest grapes. Pelicular maceration and alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature in stainless steel cubes. Post-fermentation maceration followed by malolactic fermentation.
Aged for a minimum of four years prior to bottling.
Tasting Notes
Closed ruby in colour, CLAMA is a very elegant and exuberant wine with the fresh and floral aromas typical of Touriga Nacional, with added depth from Touriga Franca to underpin the touch of wild berry and red fruit preserve.
This is a dense but simultaneously elegant, smooth and persistent wine in a set that calls out for drinking in good company.
Alcohol– 14 % vol.
Gastronomy
Ideal for meat and game dishes, cheeses, traditional Portuguese food and Mediterranean cuisine generally.
Recommended temperature between 18º and 20°C.
